Nani Parks

Herminia Parks, 96, of Savannah, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was daughter of the late Ignacio Villalobos and Herminia Smith Villalobos, and wife of John B. Parks.

Herminia "Nani" Villalobos Parks was born January 4th, 1927 in Los Angeles California. After graduating from Hollywood High school she met her forever and lifetime love John B. Parks, United States Marine.
John “Jack” predeceased his adoring wife in 2010.

 Nani loved fashion, decorating, cooking, and above all else her family. Nani's famous authentic Mexican food left an impression on all those that had the good fortune of enjoying a meal at her table. Nani's Christmas Tamales and Chile Rellenos recipes will continue to be passed down in the family for Generations.

Nani enjoyed many hobbies including keeping a beautiful yard and garden as well as being an expert seamstress and made beautiful quilts for her family and friends.

Nani is survived by her brother Claudio Villalobos, daughters Donna Marie Parks, Nadine Lynn Parks and Laura Parks Catlow, grandchildren Kersti Ferguson, Randy Littmann and Kristopher Ferguson, great grandchildren, Lance Littmann, Tyler Littmann, Jack DeRosa and newly arrived Ronan Ferguson.

Grave site services will be held in Beaufort SC at the military cemetery are set for Tuesday, December 12th, 11:00am….. for more information contact Fox & Weeks who is handling handling the interment.
