I'm sorry to hear that this great man has passed. I have so many memories of Lamar and Katherine along with the family. The vacations and just family time together. We had a lot of fun "back in the day." I know Lamar loved his family and just wanted them to be happy. I hope they have cigars in heaven. Rest in peace Lamar, you will be missed.

Dear Katherine - We are so very sorry to hear of Lamar passing. You have been such good & long time friends. His capable business acumen was greatly appreciated. We loved hearing of his boxing lore. People need to know that he was the only Savannah boxer to make it to Madison Square Garden! He was a lively conversationalist - with his great memory our visits were often lengthy and always entertaining. May God bless him & you will both be in our prayers. Tom & Maureen OBrien
