I am very sorry for the death of your beloved Wendy. Please be assured that God is love, and that He does not want any of us to suffer. At John 5:28&29 He gives us the wonderful promise of the resurrection in which we will see our dead loved ones again. Please visit www.jw.org for consoling answers to questions like: Where are the dead? Is God to blame for our sufferings? What is the meaning of life? and more....

Jacqueline C., Loganville, GA

I am sorry for your loss. Death is always a painful event for us all. However Jehovah offers us comfort in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8. I always find this scripture to be of encouragement. Jehovah promises to do away with death and all things that bring us pain. How satisfying that will be. May joyful memories fill your minds and hearts through this difficult time.

Roosevelt G, Savannah, Ga

My sincerest condolences go out to your family, it's never easy losing someone in death. May you take comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4, which says "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This verse brought me peace when I experienced loss, I hope it can do the same for you. May the memories you have give you strength during this difficult time.

My condolences to the Wilkerson family. At Revelation 21:4 Jehovah promises to do away with death forever. We look forward to this beautiful hope that Jehovah God promises us in the near future. One day soon we will not have to face nor fear our enemy death anymore. The website jw.org has really helped me through the difficulty of loosing a loved one. May your family find comfort in it as well.
