To the Evans family, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Please know that God is close to the brokenhearted. He will help you to endure “Psalm 147:3” also “John 5:28,29”

, ,

He was a good one. Always cheerful and kind. Like Joe's visit, when I saw Robert after his surgery he was optimistic of a complete recovery and grateful of the care he received.

Maureen O'Brien, Atlanta, Ga

My sincere condolences to the family an friends, please continue to rely on our heavenly Father who promises to give us the comfort we need (2 Corinthians 1:3,4).

Kay F, Savannah , Ga

My condolences to the family. May you find comfort in the scripture at Revelation 21:4 and the website jw. org.

Niecy, Savannah, GA

I'm sorry for your loss. Death is very painful to all of us. However Jehovah is the supreme comforter and offers it through his word The Bible. 1Corinthians 15:26 brings comfort in knowing that soon God's kingdom will put an end to death. I hope this scripture and many like it help you to endure this difficult time

Michael and Fran, David and Tina, Gene, nieces and nephews, all related by blood or friendship, my deepest condolences are extended to you all. Words alone cannot express the great feeling of loss of your brother and my longtime friend. Robert and I became friends at Sacred Heart parochial school in the 60's where we enjoyed many of the same friends, interests and experiences. Through the years Robert remained a true and loyal friend, one of only a very few best friends I can say I ever had. When I went to see him in the hospital after his surgery we talked of the things we were still going to do when he recuperated, like play golf again. Sadly for me that won't happen, but when I do play again I will look upward embrace his spirit and wish we would've had more time to make it happen. Too soon gone my good buddy, I'll miss you.

When I moved out of my Largo Drive house in 1972, I shared an apartment with Robert and David. One of my best memories from those days is my introduction to the Allman Brothers and Jethro Tull thanks to Robert and David. One of the more interesting things about those 1972-1973 apartment days is that my mom needed a place to store the living room furniture from our house for a year, and Robert, David, and I took it in since we really didn't have much living room furniture at the time.
