I am sorry for your loss. It's very painful when we lose a loved one to sleep in death. However, Jehovah is a God of comfort. A scripture I always find encouraging is Isaiah 25:8. There Jehovah promises to "swallow up death forever". He will also do away with all things that bring us pain. How satisfying that will be! I hope this thought has brought you comfort as well.

Roxanne, So sorry to hear about your Mom. I know how much she meant to all of you. I will keep you in my prayers. Mom passed away on July 15th. Will try to see you when I come back to Savannah. Love you. Kella

My condolences to the Hall family. At Revelation 21:4 Jehovah promises to do away with death forever. We look forward to this beautiful hope that Jehovah God promises us in the near future. One day soon we will not have to face nor fear our enemy death anymore. The website jw.org has really helped me to cope through the difficult loss of a loved one. May your family find comfort in it as well.
