We as a family have many fond memories of Priscilla. My Mother-In-law, Barbara Slagel, loved sharing a love of handbells with her. I myself had the joy of ringing with Priscilla in her later years. I have since left Savannah, but recognized her beautiful smile as soon as I saw it! I just want you to know your mother's memory will be held dear in the hearts of those who knew her. We give thanks for her life and the differences she made for us all.

Katherine Slagel, ROME, GA

Dorothy, Dacula Ga ,

My condolences to the Beckwith family for the loss of your dear loved one. During this most difficult time, may your hearts be comforted by Jehovah God’s promise that “there is going to be a resurrection.”(Acts 24:15). Also during the days to come, may Mrs. Beckwith’s sweet memories fill your hearts with joy and peace.

Thomas, Snellville, Ga

I'm so sorry for your loss. Death is not something that was intended to be experienced by humans. The bible holds out a beautiful promise of a ressurection at John 5:28,29. We can see our loved ones again very soon. I hope this scripture brings you some comfort as it has done for me in the past when I experienced loss. Please visit jw.org for more comforting information on this subject and so much more.

What a long, happy, family-filled life. I still remember wondrous, Spanish-moss-filled trips as a child to Skidaway Island. Our family has lost its matriarch. We'll miss you, Aunt Pricilla.
