Patricia Rentz Bland, 72, died Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Memorial Health University Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

The Warner Robins, GA native was born on August 30, 1946 to the late Louis and Mary Rentz. She was a longtime resident of Garden City and Pooler and was of the Southern Baptist faith. Patricia was a devoted lover of animals and enjoyed spending her time gardening. She worked for many years as a aircraft mechanic at Gulfstream Aerospace.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Donna Marie Bland; her grandson and his wife, Brandon Bland and Dana Brown; her great-grandson, Kayson Bland; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss her deeply.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2019 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with Rev. Ken Harrelson officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery in Richmond Hill.
