My deepest condolences to the Kuljanin family. I am so sorry for your loss of Mili. It is times like these I find comfort in God's promise to "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces". Then, none of us will ever again have to feel the pain of losing our loved ones. "For Jehovah himself has spoken it." Isaiah 25:8

Our condolences to Mili's family. I enjoyed his friendship. No matter how busy he was, he would always take the time to help me. He really loved his family and enjoyed sharing stories about them dearly. Mili has been, and will always be missed. When I think about him I picture his smile, and remember how he made me laugh. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray the Lords peace will be with you.

Deepest condolences to Kuljanin family. I loved talking to Mr. Kuljanin. His knowledge of history and politics made for many engaging conversations. Literal translation of name Milidrag is likeable and dear. He was both of those things and so much more, to so many of us. Rest In Peace Sir.

Jaroslav Novak, Chattanooga ,

I'm sorry for your great loss. I never had the honor of meeting Milidrag, but his legacy is his family. He must have been a caring, good-hearted man. When my grandfather passed, the officiant shared the following with us: Everyone dies three deaths. The first, when they physically pass. The second, when we lay them to rest. The third, when they pass from memory. May Milidrag's memory live on for many years.

Jeremy Doerr, Savannah, GA

Milidrag Kuljanin, 66, returned to his heavenly home on July 27, 2018 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and many loving friendships supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. He was ready to move on from this life and was not scared in his journey.

Milidrag was born to Stjepan and Ana Kuljanin, in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on September 18, 1951. He graduated from the University of Sarajevo in 1975 where he received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). He worked at Soko aerospace company in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for 15 years. Milidrag’s devotion to his family was equal to none. As the civil war was raging in ex-Yugoslavia, Milidrag moved his family with two suitcases to United States and enabled them with new opportunities. He was very determined to establish a better life for his family. He accepted a position at Gulfstream in Savannah, GA, where he worked for 22 years.

Milidrag was blessed with a loving family. He married his best friend and love of his life, Lenka Kuljanin, on December 29, 1978 in Mostar. Milidrag loved playing with his grandchildren and entertaining his friends and family. He loved telling stories and sharing his wisdom. He enjoyed his wife’s cooking, his visits back home, trout fishing and watching soccer. There was not a job that he did not like accomplishing and he was a man of many self-learned skills.

Milidrag is survived by his wife, Lenka; his son Igor, his daughter Svjetlana and daughter in law Melissa Kuljanin; his grandchildren Kellan and Mila; and his sister Ljiljana and brother, Branimir in Mostar. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The service for Milidrag will be held at St. Paul Orthodox Church on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.
