I will never forget her wonderful personality and total love of life and all the fun we shared in our early years! She was so beautiful both inside and out! There are so many memories that come to mind of the times we spent together and how much happiness she brought in to the lives of so many! I just learned of Michalle's passing, and I am so sorry to hear this news. Although we drifted apart after years of friendship through the Savannah Jaycettes. I will always remember her as a vibrant, enthusiastic, funny, and wonderful lady. She was one of our special crew members on the Ogeechee River Raft event one year in the 1970s, who made that afternoon so incredibly memorable and exhilarating. I will always remember her as a warm and fascinating lady. My sincere condolences to her family.

Michalle Aldridge Quarles, 70, passed away on September 4, 2018 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her husband, family and friends. Michalle was raised in Athens Georgia and attended Athens High where she met her husband of 50 years, Dickie Quarles. After marriage they moved to Savannah Georgia where they raised their three children.

Mimi’s passions in her life were her family, grandchildren, and her students. Throughout her life she made a difference in many students’ lives. Whether it be the role of Headmaster at Memorial Day School, Cheerleading and Dance team coach at Armstrong State College, or score keeper at all of her Grandchildren’s games , Mimi’s warm heart and beautiful smile was always felt by everyone.

Mimi’s vibrant spirit will live on through her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard L. Quarles,  Son, Richard L. Quarles Jr. (Mary), Daughter, Kemper  Templeton (Chris), Son, Spencer Quarles and her seven grandchildren, Will (Lauren), Sydney (Dan), Anna, Trace, Ethan, Madalyn, and Christopher.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5 p.m. on September 9, 2018 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
