To The Dykes Family, Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Accepting death is not easy because our Great God, Jehovah, never intended for us to feel this type of pain. I hope the scripture at 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 will bring some comfort to the family at this time of sadness and also knowing that Jehovah has promised a resurrection. May the friends and family of Mr. Dykes find comfort in the Bible's promises that soon, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28, 29), and "[God] will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3, 4). We can also rest assured that God 'will swallow up death forever, and He will wipe away the tears from all faces...for He himself has spoken it.' Michael Dykes passed away on June 28th, 2018.

Michael was born and raised in Athens, GA. He loved everything about music. He played both guitar and bass, and recently started singing. Woodworking was a passion of his that was passed down from his grandfather. Michael was a devoted husband and father. All he wanted to do in life was have a family, be a husband, and a father. He had four young children who adored him and thought he was Batman. Michael had such a bright smile and a huge heart. If he saw someone who needed help, he was always first to stop and help them.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tori Klug; four children, Jessie, Avery, Dean, and John; his mother, Carolyn Dykes; his brother, Spencer Dress; his grandmother, Gina Dress; his aunts, Susan Johnson, and Beth Watson; his uncles, Steve Dress, and Dave Johnson; and numerous other family and friends.
