May fond memories and the love of one another continue to comfort the Hood family for the loss of your dear loved one. Please know that God is close to the broken-hearted. He will continue to help you get through this most difficult times “Psalm 147:3” and “John 5:28,29”

Sheila, , Ga

I'm so sorry for your loss. Death is not something that was intended to be experienced by humans. The bible holds out a beautiful promise of a ressurection at John 5:28,29. We can see our loved ones again very soon. I hope this scripture brings you some comfort as it has done for me in the past when I experienced loss. Please visit jw.org for more comforting information on this subject and so much more.

My condolences to the family. May you find comfort in the scripture at Revelation 21:4 where Jehovah God promises to do away with death forever. We look forward to this beautiful hope in the near future. For more information and encouragement please visit jw.org.

Niecy, www.jw.org,

To the family and friends of Mary Croghan Hood, Please accept my deepest condelsonce in your time of need. Losing someone you love can bring feelings that you never felt before. Unfortunately, nothing is normal about losing someone to death. In the Bible we can see God's own viewoint of death. He calls it an enemy at 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 26. But God himself also makes us a promise with a hope that one day it (death) will be gone. In the book of Revelation chapter 21 verse 4 it states that very promise; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I hope these few Bible truths brings anyone who reads this much comfort, knowing God's viewpoint about death and the promise he made us from his (God's) own word the Bible.
