May the friends and family of Ms. Armstrong find comfort in the Bible's promises that soon, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28, 29), and "[God] will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3, 4). We can also rest assured that God 'will swallow up death forever, and He will wipe away the tears from all faces...for He himself has spoken it.' Difficult times such as these are made better when we consider Jehovah's comforting words found in the Bible.1 Corinthians 15:26 helps comfort us in knowing that God's Kingdom will bring death to it's end. This is just one of many comforting promises that Jehovah will fulfill. I hope this brings you some comfort during this difficult time.

Julie and Family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Anne. I met Anne through my sister-in-law Kim Lanier who passed away a few years ago. I know how hard it is to lose a sibling as I lost my brother in 2011. There is nothing like a brother or sister and the closeness you feel and Julie, no one knows better than you since you and Anne were twins - there is a bond that is unbreakable. I know that you will miss her. Please know that Rick and I are praying for your family. Love, Debi & Rick Lanier

Debi Lanier, Savannah, GA

My prayers go out for each of you and I tell each of you that there will always be a part of Anne with every one of you, eternally. She is home now, with a Heavenly Host, and many loved ones surrounding her. I do know that she left all of you with enough love to last you a lifetime. If there is anything I can do for any of you, please, let me know.

Lisa Luckett, Savannah, GA

I didn't know all the details so I don't know if Anne died from her heartbreak of losing her beloved daughter, her injuries in which she endured endless surgeries or a combination of both. I know she loved her daughter, Melissa, very much. I considered Anne to be a mother who did everything she could to make sure her daughter had a very meaningful and quality life. She gave Melissa the best care within the hearing (impaired) community. Anne gave Melissa the best life. Melissa thrived, had a great support system with her family and community and lived on to have a family of her own. I knew Anne's parents, Julia and Joseph and had the utmost love and respect for them. In about 1982, when Anne was recently married, she saw an ad in the Saint James Bulletin. I was looking for a care taker for my son. I was new to Savannah and Anne was the person I trusted to care for my son. She was willing to take him any hours of the night. I had to travel for my job with emergency products. She was always so loving and kind. Took my son in and treated him as if he was her own son. She has a great family. I hope and pray they all come together in the best way possible to guide her children and grandchildren to know about the love of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Anne devoted her life to Melissa. I hope you will all carry on. Your mom, Melissa and your grandma, Anne would expect the best from you. I pray for you to move through this grief. Do the best you can with your life. Know they were always proud of you. My hopes, love and prayers go out to you all. My God keep you now and forever.

, ,

Anne, We are going to miss you so much. I’m glad I got to visit last night. We had some great times together especially at “chuckles” lots of laughs. You will be at peace with Melissa, and the rest of you’re family. Until we meet again. We love you, Julie & Eddie Paige
