Lola Ruth “Pat” Ward, 93, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born February 26, 1924 in Golconda, NV to the late Grace Olsen Black.  She was a member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Pat was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.  A devoted homemaker, she loved most of all spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Ward and her daughter, Patricia Ruth Ward Kapur.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jacquelyn W. Cribbs, (Calvin) and Sandra W. Hutton, (Gregory).  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Charles “Chad” Wilson, Kevin Quinn (Janice), Jamie Frazier-Held (Amy Smith), and Michelle Purdy (Bernie Blinebry), four great-grandchildren, Dylan Quinn, Julia Quinn, Gabriel Held, and Gavin Held, one sister, Louise McIntire.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date on Daufuskie Island, SC.

Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
