To the Family. Our sympathy. May God be your ‘refuge and strength during this most difficult time. Psalm 46:1

RH, ,

I went to school with Linda. Always thinking outside the box! What a sweetie she was. May her family be comforted by Our Lord. May perpetual light shine upon her.

Julia Dyer Strickland, Savannah , Ga

The loss of a love one is difficult. May the precious memories you have help you cope and bring you peace. The Bible’s hope can bring you some comfort knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death. John 5:28-29. May the God of peace be with you and your family

Farmers Branch, TX - Linda Marie Honeycutt, 67, passed away in her home after a hard fought battle with cancer on November 16, 2018.

She leaves behind her daughter, Erin Vieman and her son Russell Smith, her sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Russell Hurt, their children Angie and Kristie, her Aunt Dale and Uncle George, as well as many grandchildren and many close friends and family.

Ms. Honeycutt was born in Savannah, Georgia to Robert and Nancy Moody Furhrman, graduated from St. Vincent's Academy in Savannah Georgia and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Amber University.

In her early years Ms. Honeycutt raised a family at the same time continuing her education. After obtaining her degree Ms. Honeycutt developed tax auditing skills that were highly prized.

Ms. Honeycutt had a love for her companion animals and they loved her dearly as well.

Her passion for genealogy and her family roots were inspired by her family's efforts to make their way to the United States in the late 1800's and early 1900's from Ireland and Czarist Russia.

Ms. Honeycutt was shrewd in her real estate dealings, was an honest and hard working mother of two and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

A funeral service will be held in Savannah, Georgia at 2:00 p.m. on December 08, 2018 at the Catholic Cemetery next to her mother.
