I knew Leonard in High School and considered him a close friend. My Prayer is that he knew the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He enjoyed life to it’s fullest. May he Rest In Peace. My Sympathy to his Family. Blessing to each, Al Blackburn

Well kiddo the good Lord had you on the early train to heaven much to our surprise, you have left a hole in this family that will never be filled. Leonard E. Stevens, 75, died April 11, 2019 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Leonard was born on June 18, 1943 in Fort Edward, NY. He lived in Savannah for most of his life before moving to Adrian. Leonard loved the country life, fishing and hunting with his friends and family. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and retired from Local 188 in Savannah.

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mabel Stevens.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Stevens of Adrian; four daughters, Shaye Stevens, Holly Brantley, Jenny(Bryan) Wyatt, and Tonya Stevens; a stepdaughter, Tammy Chalker of Swainsboro; two stepsons, Chris Braswell of Milledgeville and Barry Braswell of Adrian; eight grandchildren; one step grandchild, Jared Chalker; a sister, Tish Martin of Atlanta; two great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
