Larry David Sapp passed away on December 15th at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Tattnall County on June 2, 1935, to Palmer and Willa Mae Sapp.   Larry graduated from Commercial High School and served in the 165th Air National Guard. His career spanned over 60 years in the commercial life and health insurance industry as he served businesses and families in the area. He was an avid golfer who developed many friendships on and off the course. Larry enjoyed an early start to each day with his 6am coffee buddies. He was a generous man always looking for ways to help others. Larry and his family were long time members of Calvary Baptist Temple and most recently Skidaway Island Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and others. Larry is survived by (Ima) Jean, wife of 61 years; daughter Michele Swails, (Jimmy); granddaughter Mary Sayer (Matt) and great granddaughter Kinsley Sayer. He is also survived by sister-in-law Joanie Freeman (Charles); brother-in-law Fred Jenkins, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Howell Sapp.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 19th at 2pm at Fox and Weeks Hodgson Chapel. Visitation will be from 12pm until 2pm. Private interment will follow.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of his Sunday School Class at Skidaway Island Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Temple, Skidaway Island Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
