Dear family sorry for your loss ,may you find comfort in knowing that you will see your love one in the resurrection in the near future Acts 24: 15 said that both the righteous and the unrighteous will be resurrected to life again. John 5:28,29 Jesus said be not amazed at this they will come back just as he brought Lazarus back from from from sleep in the memorial tomb.j

Judah “Jud” Kaplan, 84, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born July 7, 1934 in Bridgeport, CT, moved to New York, and lived in Savannah for the past 16 years. He graduated from Yale University in 1956 with a B.A. degree. After graduation he served as an alumni fundraiser. He was a member of the American Stock Exchange and the managing partner with M.L. Weiss and Company for over 50 years, and the coach for the American Stock Exchange basketball team for many years.

He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and loved by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judie Weiss Kaplan, son, Ronald J. Kaplan (Jane Kor), daughter, Marjorie Lynn Felser (Paul), grandchildren, Mya Leigh Felser and Jake Jay Felser, sister, Molly Hoagland, and many friends.

He was a member of Mickve Israel.

Graveside Service will be  2:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2018 at Bonaventure Cemetery.

The family will sit Shiva at 16 Pepper Bush Circle, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Remembrances may be made to the Yale Alumni Association.
