Dear Mary Ann, I have memories of special patients and special parents, and you and Joseph are at the top of that list. It has been a privilege to me to have known you and to have had the opportunity to be Joseph's nurse over the years when he was on the Peds Floor at Memorial. You have been a wonderful, loving mother and caregiver to Joseph for almost 30 years and he knew how much you loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort and bless you as only He can do. Much love,

Anne Brown, Savannah, GA

If you could look up a picture of the most dedicated mom of the century, you would see Mary Ann. What an honor it has been to spend time with her and Joseph. We have shed tears together, but we've also laughed a lot too. What an inspiration the two of them have been to so many. We love you Mary Ann, and are praying fervently for you. His secret word is safe with us.

Joseph will forever be a one happy loving boy in my heart and mind. Having him in my class in high school was more of a privilege than a mere job. He had taught me some things I never learned in college. He was one of the reasons I keep doing my best in my work. Mrs. Wetherbee please be strong. We may not always see each other but please remember we are always here for you. You are one finest example of a parent who does everything in her capacity to support her child. My loving thoughts and prayers are offered for both of you.
