Dear John's family, At 79 years of age, I think of John with love. He made such a difference to so many people. His sense of humor was terrific, and also his use of words I had to look up in the dictionary! He was a good friend to many, and a warm listener with sensitive advice. He will be missed. Laura and Joe Gilliam.

Laura Gilliam, Gladwyne, PA

We were sorry to read of John's death. He did a lot of work for us on our house at Romerly Rd at the Landings. We always found him very responsive and dedicted to making sure the work he or his Sub Contractors were doing was finished on time and top quality. I know he will be missed because of his humor and dedication to his Clients. Please accept our sincere condolances and know that he is remembered fondly. Regards, Carol and Jim Smith

I am sorry for your loss. Losing loved ones in death is always a difficult time, but take comfort in knowing this is only temporary. Jehovah is a God of comfort and through his word the bible, he offers much encouragement. For example I always find Isaiah 25:8 reassuring because he will do away with death and all things that bring us pain. May beautiful memories fill your hearts and minds through this difficult time.

Roosvelt G., Savannah, Ga

He will be missed

Dan,edwards, Statesboro,

John and I were great boyhood friends growing up in Brunswick. We played ball as teamates, camped out, hunted doves, explored all the rivers around town in our boats, and just had lots of good times together. I also loved his Mom and Dad, especially liked to eat at his house because Mrs. Mac was a great cook. She would always fix something good for us because she knew my Mother couldn't boil water so I think she felt sorry for me. They were a very special family...loved them dearly.

John Lewis Hobson, hartwell, Ga

What a tragic loss for us as John was both our contractor and friend. And what an interesting character from his off repeated expression-All is well- and others, we will miss this wiley character of much information.. I am grateful that I recently swam into him at the Fitness Center outdoor pool as he was nursing his knee trying to get back to his beloved game of golf. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed sharing his knowledge by word and letters to the editor. So young but so well-lived. Grateful that I told him how much we appreciated his help over the years. God will put his energy to good use! Please know that we send our sad love to you, his family. He often spoke of you and your happenings. Fondly, Lee and Salty Forbes

Please accept our condolences. We are truly saddened and shocked, also. There are no words fine enough to express how much we will miss John. He was delightful and often made me laugh, yet he was very conscientious and fair as a businessman. Oh, we wish we could have known him longer!

I am sorry for your loss. We have the blessing of receiving comfort from Jehovah's word the Bible, especially through difficult times like these. A scripture I find encouraging is Isaiah 25:8. Yes Jehovah will do away with death and all things that bring us pain for good. How satisfying that will be! May positive memories fill your heart and mind through this time.
