May the friends and family of Mr. Piette find comfort in the Bible's promises that soon, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28, 29), and "[God] will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3, 4). We can also rest assured that God 'will swallow up death forever, and He will wipe away the tears from all faces...for He himself has spoken it.' Dear Piette family, Jim served on the Georgia Board of TNC from the inception of the state chapter. I had the pleasure of working with him for 20 years and so appreciated his guidance and his wit. He was always so kind to me and my family, not to mention the wise advice he shared with us all. You are all in my prayers and thank you for sharing your Father with us all. Best, Tavia McCuean

My sincere condolences to the family. Mr. Peitte ( Jim ) was one that was a solid influence in my progression in business. His integrity in business and personal association was inspiring. Formerly E&I Supt. at the Savannah Mill many years back, Jim inspired me and taught me many things even though I was far down the "ranks". He will not be forgotten.

Jim, We offer you and your family our condolences on your tremendous loss. Your father lived a remarkable life, had the love of his life, successful children and the respect and admiration of his peers, by any account, A life well lived. Do not hang your head in sorrow, rejoice in his release from the insidiously horrible affects of Alzheimer's and his reunification with his love. Be Strong and Celebrate a life in full.
