What a heartbreaking shock today as we have just heard of Tommy's passing. It was always a bright spot in our day when he stopped by, and was very obvious that he love each of his family members so. Our hearts are heavy and broken today. We will lift each of you up to God in prayer that He will send comfort & peace that passes all understanding.

Mitchell & Carrie Ann Stidham / Steel Structures, Baxley, Ga

May the friends and family of Mr. Cupstid find comfort in the Bible's promises that soon, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28, 29), and "[God] will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3, 4). We can also rest assured that God 'will swallow up death forever, and He will wipe away the tears from all faces...for He himself has spoken it.' (Isaiah 25:8) https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/questions/about-life-and-death/

T-Cup was a very special person. At 17, He was the first friend I met leaving home for college and it was like we were always friends from the beginning. We bonded immediately as did many others. Even though we only spent 2 years together they were dynamic ones! A true team mate in the trenches and loyal to the end.He would at times amaze us with his abilities which he kept under humble means until needed. We had many experiences together as we were finding our way as young adults. Even then in the beginning at such a young age we recall Ann being the light in His life still ever so burning. I know words are very futile at this time but I do know just as the last 40 years that his memory is and always will be strong in our hearts. Tommy was an exceptional athlete and friend and I know he was even better as a Husband,Father and Grand Father. No,T-Cup will definitely not be forgotten. We ask for Gods mercy and continued Grace for Ann the entire family .

Tommy was a good friend mostly over the phone context for 35 years. it was good to get to see him face to face over the last 1-1/2 years. he was always kind and even shared his home number to help out in case of emergencies. I'll always remember his professionalism, and his honesty. I'm praying for you his family during this time of loss. Only God can give the grace needed during this time.
