Ernestine “Tina” Bufalini, 86, died on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Memorial University Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends. She was born December 13, 1930 in Hiltonia, GA to Ernest and Naomi Kinard Slappey. She graduated from Commercial High School in 1948 and worked in the Chemical Field for many years. She married Louis G. Bufalini on March 8, 1957, while he was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield. She accompanied him on his many travels while he served in the U.S. Air Force, which they both loved and enjoyed. After their 20- year tour they settled back in Savannah.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the BPOE Elks Lodge, #183, and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Tina is survived by her son Mark Bufalini and his wife Kaye, brother-in-law, Vince Bufalini and his wife Sophie, niece, Nadine Kelly, step-granddaughter, Lacey Shuman and her husband Mark, grandsons, Corey Bufalini, and Andrew Bufalini and his wife Caroline.

Tina now joins her beloved husband “Buff”, her mother Naomi, and father Ernest in eternity.

A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
