May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard you’re heart and mental powers by means of Christ Jesus during this difficult time. Philippians 4:7. My sincere sympathy for the family.

There isnt much a person can say when someone loses a person they have loved for a very long time. But what I have found is that the Bible is really a very reliable source of comfort when times like these comes upon us. Scriptures like John 5:28,29 to where we find Jesus Christ speaking in the hearing of the people and of course is today, because Gods word is timeless. But he is saying something to us here, that really gives us a preview of what he will accomplish in the future, when he does bring all of our dead loved ones back to life and then there is another passage that Gods words gives us another look into the future when this is fulfilled that is really in connection with the resurrection. Why? Because it gives us a clue as to where they will live, once they are brought back to life. It is found in Psalm 37:29 which reads:The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. So as you read it, imagine all of your dear loved ones who have fallen asleep in death, back in your arms again but among millions upon millions who will be brought back to live right here on this earth, but without death ever to scare us again, 1 Cor. 15:26 see God will do away with death, so we can live with the fear of ever dying ever again. So for more spiritual words of encouragement then please go to JW.org..

I'm so sorry for your loss. Death is not something that was intended to be experienced by humans. The bible holds out a beautiful promise of a ressurection at John 5:28,29. We can see our loved ones again very soon. I hope this scripture brings you some comfort as it has done for me in the past when I experienced loss. Please visit jw.org for more comforting information on this subject and so much more.
