There are so many things I could say. You are my Brother in Law, you have been my roommate and you have been a Wonderful and Loving Uncle to my Son. You will Always be my Brother in Law. I will try my best to do for you and yours as you would for me and mine if you were in my shoes. I love you, Brother. It's time to go Home now to Ancestors. I still got a candle lit to guide you Home.

I remember the first day Durwood came to work for me. He actually worked that day and night. He would work whatever hours I ask him to work. 7 days a week and I night if I needed him. He went from a quiet guy who worked hard all the time to my number one guy. He would run jobs for me and work hard at the same time. He took a lot of pride in his job. The General Contractors liked him and so did the people that he had to work around. He also earned a lot of respect from his co-workers. The last few days that I've been thinking about Durwood, I just think about his smile and his laugh. I was always trying to make him laugh. I loved Durwood like a son, and I'm really really going to miss him. R.I.P. brother, and one day I'll get to hear you laugh again!
