I am so very sorry for your loss, losing a loved one in death is very painful. Please remember that Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit. Ps.34:18,19. While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father Jehovah return your dear one Jack to you. May you also find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of Jack during those difficult times.

My sincere condolences to the family, reading about Mr. Meeker he definitely seemed to have lived a good life. The Bible promises that in the near future we all we all will live a good long life. The reason is death will be done away with for good as found at Isaiah 25:8. The joy to see our dead loved ones again is a future promise that will be fulfilled.
