I'm sorry for your loss. Death is very painful to all of us. However Jehovah is the supreme comforter and offers it through his word The Bible. 1corinthians 15:26 brings comfort in knowing that soon God's kingdom will put an end to death. I hope this scripture and many like it help you to endure this difficult time.

R.G., Savannah,

My sincere condolences to the family, may you find comfort from the scripture at 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 26. At that scripture we are reminded that death is just temporary soon death will be gone for good.

Kay F, Savannah, Ga

I'm sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose someone we love. The Bible gives a sure hope of a resurrection. The scripture found at Isaiah 25:8 tells us that one day soon God will put in end to death. Please visit jw.org for more comforting information on this subject.

May the friends and family of Mr. Walker find comfort in the Bible's promises that soon, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28, 29), and "[God] will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3, 4). We can also rest assured that God 'will swallow up death forever, and He will wipe away the tears from all faces...for He himself has spoken it.' (Isaiah 25:8) https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/questions/about-life-and-death/

Dearest Suzie and family, Our prayers are with you and your family in the loss of your husband, dad, grandfather and my wonderful friend Dennis. We met in March of 73 and I was one of the blessed to have been able to call him friend. May God's GRACE surround your family today and always.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. At John 5:28,29, Jesus assures us, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

I'm sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. He was my sales manager at J.C. Lewis Ford in late '78. I was only there for five weeks and sold five cars, two of which were Dennis's demonstrators; he and his son(s) would actually detail his demos on weekends and he'd display them prominently at the dealership. The story I've told many times of the kind of person Dennis was is that I'd been working with a couple from my first week to my last and finally got their credit approved. Dennis del'd the car (another of his demos; a T-top T-bird) after I had left and paid me the commission; very few people like that.
