David "Dave" DeMott died at his home on Whitemarsh Island on Monday September 3, 2018 after a long battle with depression.  He was a graduate of Johnson High School in Savannah and of the Airplane Manufacturing Program at Savannah Technical College.  Dave was a unique, complicated, intelligent, sensitive, loyal person and a self-professed nerd, who was loved by his group of friends.  He loved Star Trek, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and other role-playing games with his friends on Friday nights.

David is survived by his moms, Jen and Lee, his brother Nate, his father Chris, his grandparents Cheryl and David, his uncle Jeff, and all of his fur baby siblings: Peanut, Cash, Trexie, Spike, Mama Kitty, Baby Kitty, Zombie and Gandolf.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Georgia Animal Rescue and Defence at http://www.gardonline.org.  GARD is the shelter that rescued his fur baby sibling Cash, who he loved dearly.  GARD is funded entirely from donations.

Please join us for a celebration of his life and lunch on Saturday at 1pm at the Talahi Island Community Center.
