Michael and Graham, Dawson and I would like to send our condolences to both of you and your families. Dana was a very sweet lady. Please let us know if either of you need anything at all, we are just around the corner! May God wrap his arms around you and comfort you during this time.

Jessica Parrish and Dawson, Savannah, Ga

Michael, our deepest sympathy to you & your family. Very sorry we were not at the services as we heard of this most sad news afterward. May God bless your family and be with you during this difficult time.

Patrick & Andrea Padgett, Savannah, Ga

Dear Wodkowski and Graham family, Dana’s insurmountable challenge with Huntington’s frightened and saddened all of us on the sidelines who shuddered at the thought that such a lovely young lady could be so violently afflicted. The partially redeeming factor that gave us awe was how courageously she fought and how supportive both families were in trying to fight through this unbearable burden. You have been in our prayers daily and will continue to be. As overwhelming as it now appears, Dana’s courage and love will give each of you strength to arise and do wonderful things inspired by her life. God bless you. Bob and Nancy

Bob and Nancy Merchen, Savannah, Georgia

So sorry for your loss! I and my boys remember her well. Again, so sorry for your loss!

Hylos Barrett , Acworth , GA

Dana was a couple years ahead of me a SCPS. She was always kind and I remember thinking she was a really pretty girl. My prayers are for those left behind that you would be comforted by wonderful memories. May this time of grieving bring peace beyond understanding and unity between those hurting during this time. God bless her family and her loved ones.

Kenna Colón Bynum, Los Angeles, CA

I have so many wonderful memories of Dana from school and growing up around the corner from eachother. She was always beautiful. We send you heartfelt prayers during this time

Mike and Rene Green , Savannah, Ga

I went to Savannah Christian with Dana and also danced with her through our High School years at her aunt Jean's dance academy. She was so full of life, positive energy, and radiated goodness. I'm so sorry for your loss and pray for her entire family during this sad time

since death wasn't originally God's purpose for mankind, it is very painful to deal with, but please read the wonderful hope that the Bible holds for us all at Revelation 21:3,4.

Ruby, Liliburn,

Dana and I met in summer of 1998 as she kindly helped me ....... and handed me my very first job. She believed in me when no one else could and I will never forget that! It was her laughter, her caring and her big heart that separated her from anyone else that I have known. Aunty Dana, I love you and you still with us in within our souls! Rest In Peace ...??

Emmanuel RUBAYIZA , Anchorage , Alaska

Michael: My heart is weighing heavy with sorrow for you, for Nancy, for Kim and the whole family, not to Mention the many friends that you all have to share during this Sad difficult time Words cannot adequately express the aching pain that comes from such an event Just to say as the late ‘Joe Page’would say: “Lean on the Almighty, Lean on Me for strength, for courage to go on To memorialize Dana’s beautiful soul To walk on with Hope in your heart And you will never walk alone My Friend, you will never walk alone” You took the best care of her you knew to do You were good at it too God Bless you We all love and care about you, Michael Setona and the Gang at Maycrest Hardware Center

I am so very sorry to hear of this loss. I was a childhood friend of Dana’s and have not talked to her in years. But I have many fond memories of our time together as kids when I lived in savannah and she was as beautiful as she was as a 9 year old the last time I saw her. Her smile has always lit up a room, and I will always remember her as crazy fun! All of my memories of her make me smile and I will always remember her as the beautiful, vivacious, energetic and precocious girl I was lucky enough to call a friend. Sending prayers for peace and love to your family and hugs to Nancy and Kim. Dalal Murgai

Dana's was one of the most loving people I have ever known. I will miss her enthusiasm and her ever loving smile. I truly loved her.

Judi Ruchalski, Savannah , ga

Dana was a a beautiful person inside and out. She could put on a burlap bag and look like She just stepped off of the cover of Vogue magazine. There are so many memories I share with this family, from Middle School cheerleading, wedding showers, baby showers and Halloween celebrations. When you had the honor of being with Nancy, Kim amd Dana at the same time then you were in for a treat. Your ribs would be hurting from so much laughter. Dana was a story teller- and a great one I might add. Every story was filled with animation and you were on the edge of your seat to hear the full story. I loved her laugh and the way she had everyone around her laughing. Dana loved her family! She adored Graham and wanted the best for him. You will be missed by many Dana. Prayers and strength for this sweet family.

Liane Willard , Richmond Hill , Ga

There is so much I could say about this vibrant, young lady. I embrace the memories I shared in my childhood with her and her wonderful family. I felt I was one of the family and not just a friend. The love that I experienced in this home was unlike any other. Dana definitely got it honest. There was always laughter and memories that will last forever. My boys and I had the opportunity to spend Saint Patty's two years ago with her mom and sister and even though; we hadn't seen each other for awhile; it was as if; nothing had changed. My heart is heavy and Dana will never be forgotten. There were many birthdays we spent together because mine is on January 15th and ironically; my late daughter Madeline Claire was born on January 16th, Dana's bday. What an awesome day of celebrating two beautiful angels! Rest in piece and fly high! Prayers and hugs to Michael and Graham!

Jelena Marsh, Jeanette Marsh, Colin and Nate Bentley, Savannah, Ga

My condolences to the family. May you find comfort in the scripture at Revelation 21:4 and the website jw.org.

Dana Graham Wodkowski, 47, succumbed to Huntington’s Disease on Saturday, December 30, 2017.  A strong and determined woman to the end, she fought a valiant battle.  Though her fortitude came as no surprise to those who knew her, as she always had a fierce tenacity for life.

A successful graduate of the University of Georgia, Dana completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in psychology.  She was also active in Greek life as a Kappa Delta.  Moreover, campus is where she re-established her connection with her future husband Michael Wodkowski, who she met in high school.

Her smile could command a room, and she possessed a gift to make people laugh and smile right along with her. It was fitting that she developed a love for owls, as they represent wisdom, and their enigmatic uniqueness has long been captivating. A truly special soul herself, Dana will be forever loved and missed as her spirit soars high with the owls above.

Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Michael T. Wodkowski of Savannah; son, Michael “Graham” Wodkowski of Savannah; mother, Nancy Humber Graham of Savannah; sister, Kim Graham and her husband, Garry Riddle of Savannah; niece, Brittany Leigh McLaughlin of Savannah; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald M. and Denise Wodkowski of Savannah;  sister-in-law, Kim Knox and her husband, Scott of Greensboro, NC; brother-in-law, Kevin Wodkowski and his wife Jessie of Savannah; nieces and nephews, Slater, Reid and Elizabeth Knox of Greensboro, NC and Blake Wodkowski of Savannah. She was preceded in death by her father, C. Carl Graham.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Remembrances: One Love Animal Rescue, 463 Johnny Mercer Blvd., Ste. B-7 #142, Savannah, GA 31410 or Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 8th. Ave., Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
