https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2007321?q=child+death&p=par I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through right now. I hope the link I pasted above can bring you a measure of comfort; it takes you to an article full of beautiful scriptures on how God gives strength to those who are grieving, specifically to those who have lost a child. David, who lost more than one of his children in death, once said of God, "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds"-Psalms 147:3. I hope you find the same to be true in your case.

Christopher will truly be missed by me and my family. Christopher and his family became about of my family, as I meet the Wilson family through a nursing agency and provided a service for several years. I thank God for not just the job, but for meeting a special guy full of personality that I grew to love and couldn't wait to see the next weok. The job was merely just the resource that established the Wilson's to become a huge part of my life. So many wonderful memories with Chris that I will hold near and dear. I will forever miss how he use to get so excited just hearing my voice, before he even seen me. He couldn't speak, but he said many things with his smile that would light up a room, his laugh that would melt your heart and even his loud uttering of noise to get your attention. Love you Chris from your friends Misty, Trey, Keena and Jayla sleep in peace. ?

Christopher Ryan Wilson, age 20, ascended to heaven and into his maternal grandparent’ loving arms on July 5, 2017.

Born in Savannah on November 26, 1996, Babies Can’t Wait handed off Chris at age 3 to Preschool Special Instruction at Marshpoint and May Howard Elementary Schools. He rose to the rank of a Cruiser in the orthopedically—impaired class and continued to make life-long friends among his severely and profoundly-disabled classmates. Chris completed his special education at West Chatham Elementary and was later home-schooled by Barney, Elmo, and Bear in the Big Blue House. Chris, affectionately dubbed “the little lion”, was the hero of his own story, attending his older brother’s soccer matches and baseball games, reporting on current events to his classmates utilizing a BIGmack switch, and later delivering Meals-on-wheels with his parents to seniors since 2013.

The Wilson family would like to sincerely thank Chris’ network of medical and dental professionals, special educators, para pros, therapists, caregivers, and legal eagles whose devotion to Chris afforded him the best life possible for a CP kid. Chris’ laughter was the light of our home.

Chris is survived in Savannah by his parents, Don and Mary Wilson; brothers, Justin Wilson, Keith Wilson, and Donald Wilson; sister, Kathi Riley; and paternal grandmother, Lois Shecko of Phenix City, Alabama.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017, in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
