Patty, It's been many years since we've run into each other around town, but I've never forgotten our childhood when you and your family lived across the lane from us. Y'all were on East 66th. Street and we were on Brandywine Road. Nor have I forgotten your mother, and am so sorry for your loss. She was a lovely woman. One memory stands out from back in the 1960s: One night your parents loaded up the car with you, Donna and a few of us kids from the neighborhood to ride out to Backus Cadillac-Pontiac so your mother could look at new Pontiacs on the lot. I seem to recall she drove a snazzy two-door model shortly afterwards. May her memory be a blessing and comfort to you and your family, now and always.

Julia Jones Williams, Savannah, Ga

I am so sorry to hear about Carolyn. May we all look forward to the time when God will take away sickness and even death. We can be confident that this will be fulfilled because God always keeps his promises. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”- Rev 21:4
